Shipping Policy
Thank you for shopping with George Leigh & Co. We take great care in packaging every antique and vintage item to help ensure it arrives safely.
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 5 business days after payment has been received. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Shipping Rates
Most orders ship for a flat rate of $15 within the contiguous United States.
Oversized, exceptionally heavy, or freight-required items may require additional shipping charges. If an item requires special shipping arrangements, this will be clearly noted in the product listing.
At this time, we ship within the United States only unless otherwise noted.
Packaging
Every item is carefully wrapped and packaged using materials appropriate for fragile and antique merchandise. We take pride in ensuring your purchase is packaged with care so it arrives safely.
Shipping Carriers
Orders are shipped via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or another carrier selected at our discretion. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.
Delivery Delays
Delivery dates are estimates provided by the shipping carrier and cannot be guaranteed. George Leigh & Co. is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Damaged Shipments
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the packaging materials
- Photos of the outside of the shipping box and shipping label
This documentation is necessary to assist with a shipping insurance claim.
Lost Packages
If tracking indicates that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please check with neighbors or your local carrier first. We are happy to assist you in working with the carrier if additional help is needed.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may require additional shipping charges before they can be reshipped.
