A beautiful 19th-century hand-carved wooden santo depicting Our Lady of Sorrows (La Dolorosa), one of the most beloved devotional images in Catholic tradition. With her hands crossed in prayer and a serene, contemplative expression, this sculpture captures the quiet grief and unwavering faith associated with the Virgin Mary's suffering.

Expertly carved from wood and retaining its original hand-painted polychrome surface, the figure displays the warmth, character, and craftsmanship collectors seek in authentic nineteenth-century devotional sculpture. The face remains beautifully preserved, and the sculpture displays exceptionally well.
