An antique French display plinth with a rich red velvet top and molded gilt base—a beautiful foundation for treasured books, a tea caddy, or a favorite decorative object.
The velvet shows wear to the pile and some loose threads. Scattered losses to the gilt and gesso around the edges and corners lend the piece its lovely timeworn character. Please review the photographs for condition details.
