Antique French WWI 37mm Trench Art Shell Casing – "Vive Le Pinard"

An authentic French 37mm brass shell casing beautifully hand engraved into a decorative trench art vase dating to the First World War era.

The front features the patriotic French inscription "Vive Le Pinard" ("Long Live the Wine"), accompanied by detailed engravings of a wine cask, bottle, wine glass, and decorative floral borders. The reverse displays a large engraved flower with flowing foliage, creating an attractive display from either side.

The shell retains its original rolled rim and rich antique brass patina, making it an excellent example of authentic French trench art.
