Antique WWI 1918 U.S. 75mm Trench Art Shell Vase
An exceptional World War I trench art vase handcrafted from an original 1918 U.S.-manufactured 75mm brass shell casing, beautifully transformed with an intricate repoussé floral design in the Art Nouveau style.
The striking raised flower and foliage were meticulously hand-worked into the brass, creating a sculptural display piece that celebrates both artistry and history. Pieces of this quality were often created during or shortly after the First World War as lasting keepsakes from military service.
The base retains its original military headstamp, including 1918 and USA, confirming the shell's wartime manufacture.

Condition
