Pair of Bradley & Hubbard Art Nouveau Bronze Bas Relief Cameo Plaques
A striking pair of authentic Bradley & Hubbard Art Nouveau bronze bas relief lady cameo plaques, beautifully presented in richly upholstered burgundy velvet frames with gilt wood molding. Featuring two elegant female profiles in flowing Art Nouveau styling, these plaques make an exceptional statement displayed together over a mantel, library bookcase, or in a grand hallway.
Bradley & Hubbard was one of America's premier decorative arts manufacturers during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, renowned for producing high-quality bronze, brass, and iron works that remain highly collectible today.
Each bronze plaque measures approximately 13¾" H × 10¼" W, while the framed pieces measure approximately 18½" H × 15¼" W.
The pair remains in very good vintage condition with an attractive aged bronze patina. The frames display only light, expected age-related wear. One frame retains an old Barnett's Custom Framing & Gallery label from Jacksonville, Florida, and one frame has a handwritten date on the reverse from a previous owner/framer. The backing paper on one frame has a tear (shown in photographs), but this does not affect the stability or display of the artwork.
These are increasingly difficult to find as a matching pair and are equally at home in Art Nouveau, French, Victorian, or traditional interiors.
