Signed Pops Casey Tramp Art Box — Blue & Silver Stars
A celebration of handwork and imagination, this signed box by Chicago folk and outsider artist Casey Lewandowski, known as Pops Casey, pairs a blue finish with shimmering silver-tone stars and elaborate layered carving.
Rows of carefully notched wood frame raised five-pointed stars across the lid and sides, creating a richly textured, sculptural surface. Shaped feet lift the box above its resting surface, allowing its intricate silhouette to shine. The hinged lid opens to a warm wood interior, with brass-tone hinges and a lid-support arm.
Both useful and expressive, this is a distinctive keepsake box with the presence of a small sculpture.
