Description
A striking antique parasol or umbrella handle featuring luminous mother-of-pearl panels and highly ornate gilt-tone metal mounts. At approximately 14 inches long, this is the largest and longest handle in the collection, giving it wonderful presence as a decorative object.

The rounded handle top measures approximately 2 inches wide by 2 inches tall. No visible hallmarks have been found, so the metal is described conservatively as gilt-tone rather than attributed to a precious metal.

The piece remains beautiful overall, with a few areas of mother-of-pearl loss, scattered small dents, and expected surface wear consistent with age and use.
