A beautifully preserved antique parasol or umbrella handle featuring luminous mother-of-pearl and ornate gilt-tone metalwork. This example has a fuller, rounded top with decorative ribbed and chased detailing, giving it a strong sculptural presence.

The handle measures approximately 11 inches long, with the top measuring approximately 1.5 inches wide.

Condition is very good overall. The mother-of-pearl is in very good condition, with very little denting to the metal. There is a small dent on the lower shaft, along with expected age-related patina and surface wear.
