Antique Pairpoint Pink Satin Glass Cupid Brides Bowl with Onyx Base
A truly special antique Pairpoint brides bowl featuring a dramatic pink and white ruffled satin glass bowl supported by a beautifully detailed silverplate cupid figure.
The sculptural cupid stands upon a richly veined onyx stone base, framed by an ornate silverplate foot. The combination of soft pink glass, aged silverplate, and warm natural stone gives this piece such a romantic Victorian presence.
The underside is clearly stamped PAIRPOINT, P/C1438, identifying the metalwork as Pairpoint. The deeply ruffled glass bowl has a wonderful soft satin finish with rich pink coloring concentrated along the edges.
A beautiful statement piece for a vanity, dressing room, mantel, entry table, or collected Victorian interior—and especially lovely filled with petite florals or simply displayed on its own.
